Last night we went to Aaron's co-workers house for some Pumpkins. We picked up 4 great ones, one is huge. We carved three of them, Elmo is Dempseys, the face is mine and the naked chick is Aarons. I opted out on carving the huge pumpkin since it was so big, I could lift it, it's still in the garage. They turned out amazing.

Getting ready for baby
I don't know how other families get ready for the arrival of a new baby, but we have been playing with the babies.
Dempsey has 2 baby dolls, the one that sits up on it own is his favorite. I have been trying to teach Demps to be genital with the baby, where the baby will sleep and that there is a baby in my tummy now, but that it's coming soon. As you can see Dempsey is taking on the roll of Big Brother quite well...

Fun night with kids
Today was Adam and Jessica's 2nd anniversary and they asked if we could watch the kids while they went out to eat. Payton and Walker got here about ten after five and left about 8:30. We had a blast!! First we ate supper then played and played and played. The kids jumped on the bed, read some books, we even had ice cream. And since it was bath day for Demps I thought I might as well throw them all in the tub. I had just finished washing there hair when Adam and Jess got back. They helped dry and cloth the newly clean kids and picked up the huge mess of toys. My house is back in order. Dempsey went down quite easy tonight. It sure was fun to have the Payton and Walker over, even just for a few hours.

SNOW
We woke up to snow on Monday Morning like most of you probably did, we decided to we had better make the best of it, and go outside.
First we made some snow angles and Dempsey discovered that he liked how the snow tasted. Eating a few handfuls. Mommy decided that we had better male a snow man since the snow was perfect for packing, and is sure was. In no time at all I had a snow man made. I ran inside and got a hat and carrot, grabbed two sicks from the garden and two rocks from the landscape and wal-la a snow man. We then ventured to the back-yard. Dempsey wanted to swing and go down his slide so we did. After playing for about 20 minutes I happened to look in the front yard, just because and notice the lack of a snow man. He some how managed to tip himself over and crumble to the ground. OH WELL. I'm sure he wont be the only snow man of the season. Dempsey loved the snow, just like mommy and didn't want to come inside. I can't wait for more snow and the kind that sticks around for months.

update
Nothing big is new with the Mckeever family, we haven't done much or been to busy but I still haven't had time to blog.
Dempsey is talking more and more every day. Running and being a mad man more and more. He has been trying to peddle his tractor and trike but still isn't getting it, which is frustrates him.
For those who are interested; the craft sale went OK. I sold 12 dolls and plan on doing a craft fair in Balsam Lake at the school to try and sell the rest of the dolls. Yeah that wasn't for me!
sorry no pictures, and thats about it.

Dolls
It's been about a month since the day my aunt put this silly idea in my head...What idea, making dolls to sell at the Amery Fall Festival craft fair. I first saw the doll pattern and Martha Stewart just over a year ago. I made "Gladis" for Dempsey and a few more for some birthday presents. Well the last Birthday party I went to I happened to show Jennifer the doll on my way. Sher thought it was great and thus starting this 'Idea' to make enough to sell at a craft fair. For the last 2 weeks, dolls are all I've been doing. As of now I have 37(i think) done, and about 6 more that need to be stuffed, that will be just over 40 which is just where I was hoping to be. So if you are bored Saturday the 19th from 9-3 stop by the craft fair in Amery. I'll be there with 40 some dolls, hoping they sell:)

Gladis is the first one, then the doll I gave Gabby and the one I gave Payton.
