Sorry it's been so long since I have posted anything new, it has been very busy with the Elly around. Although it is Dempsey that is the hard one to keep tabs on. Bed time has been really tough lately. I thought that I got a system down but then Aaron was on a seven day off stretch and let Demps sleep with him a few nights so I could get sleep and it through EVEYTHING off. So now I've been back to laying with Demps till he falls asleep, which can take up to 40 minutes, after we finish our 30 minute story. By then Elly and I are both very ready for bed, and so I am never able to use the computer, all day.
Both the kids are growing like weeds, Dempsey is about 35 inches tall and 29 pounds. Elly is 24 inches and 13 pounds, and only 2 months old.
Elly hasn't done anything amazing yet, I'm pretty sure she'll be behind her brother when it comes to physical development since we can't leave her on the floor without constant supervision, fear that her brother will step, fall, or drive something on her. She is though a very happy baby, always smiling ans giggling. She sleeps really well; getting up 2 or 3 times a might. Dempsey still gets up that much some nights, those night really suck for mommy.
In a week Dempsey and Aaron are going on a little vacation; going to visit Papa Rick and Nana Suey in Florida. I am very excited to get some Elly time as well as time to do some crapting (crafting). I have been working a a small quilt for Ellys babies cradle and has material cut to make Elly a quilt. I hope I can get them both sewn before the boys are back.
